Internet Romance
Internet Romance anyone? Internet relationships have been growing online for the last couple of years. It is not uncommon to hear that a couple met online and are well on their way to getting married. And to think, it all started with internet romance.

Many will still disagree that internet romance cannot be seen as true love, however I beg to differ. I recently had a nice and long conversation with a couple from South Africa that met online.

Claire was from England at the time of them communicating over Skype (Claire is a young and attractive girl in her late twenty's and Timothy recently turned 30).
Just by looking at them you could truly see that they are a couple that are meant to be together.

With the easy access to webcams and microphones, the number of online relationships are just going to keep growing and growing but there is a downside to this. Not all people are like Claire and Timothy.

The idea of meeting someone online and falling deeply in love can sometimes put us beyond our logical way of thinking. We open ourselves to a vast amount of danger, the danger of the person on the other side of the line not being who they say they are. Gruesome stories on the news should make you think before you act on this impulse. Make sure that when the time comes to meet the Romeo or Juliet, that you are completely comfortable with it and that no pressure was put on you that made you act against your true feelings. If the person is really important enough then they will wait for you to be ready. Another thing that can ensure your safety when meeting is to have a friend somewhere out of sight that can come to your rescue if something goes wrong.

Make sure that when you are involved in a online relationship, that you know all the facts, options and dangers that may come of this and always protect yourself.
